Hope House has been offering hope and care to hurting people for over fourteen years.
We offer counselling, addictions support and training to the people of Cape Town, South Africa.
Hope House is a Christian organisation that is passionate about welcoming people
of all races, religions and cultures to seek care and counselling with us.
Our Hope House Centres are in Bergvliet, Tableview and Kuilsrivier, Cape Town.
Hope House offers one-on-one counselling in a confidential and respectful environment to people of all backgrounds, cultures and languages. We’re a Not for Profit organisation and ask for a donation in return for counselling sessions.
We are passionate about the training and development of Cape Town’s counsellors – so we run frequent short courses to enrich a counsellor’s skills and experience. We also offer public courses eg family, marriage and anger management.
Blessed with donations from TFG Merchandise Procurement Division with resources for the children doing our Better Life Choices program in schools.

Our Mission: Inspired by the love of God, Hope House founders set off to offer hope to hurting people through Biblical care and counselling. Our mission is to equip people to withstand the pressure they face in trauma, loss and in the practical demands of daily life.
Hope House Mission Statement
Our approach is person-centred. This means we listen to every client’s experience with empathy and without judgement. Though we are a Christian organisation we approach counselling in a purely secular way.
We believe God can make a mess into a message, a test into a testimony, a trial into a triumph and a victim into a victor.
